MPO jumper, a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming field termination, is designed for high-density fibre patching in data centres which need space saving and reduce cable management problems. Due to the MPO-12 also supporting MPO-8 fibre systems, it is also ideal for 8-fibre parallel multimode optical transceivers applications, such as 40G QSFP+ SR4/CSR4, 100G QSFP28 SR4 optics connection.

Custom Fiber Count

Fiber cable is available in various fibre counts with selection depending on the application and the number of connections.

Using the outer 4 fibres (1-4 and 8-12) of the MPO-12 connector with 4 fibres used to transmit and 4 fibres used to receive for QSFP application.
Used for trunk and backbone applications. It is also ideal for 8-fibre parallel applications.
The cable with braided tubing combines MPO-8/12 cable assemblies for high-density backbone applications.

MTP® connectors utilise two alignment pins on one connector and two holes on the opposite connector. Female connectors can be identified by the two cable pins on the end of the connector.
